Positive: We had an amazing stay at this desert camp. It was our first time in the Sahara, and the entire experience was thoughtfully arranged. From the friendly pick-up in Merzouga by 4x4 to the final goodbye, the staff made us feel welcomed and valued. The camel ride through the dunes at sunset was peaceful and scenic — perfect for photos and memories. Our tent had everything we needed, including a private bathroom with running water, which made a big difference in comfort. The food was excellent — generous portions, flavorful tagines, and local tea offered throughout the day. After dinner, everyone gathered around a fire where the staff played music and sang Berber songs. They even taught us a few words and rhythms! It was fun and heartfelt. In the morning, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast and one last walk in the sand. We’d return here in a heartbeat.
