Positive: The views and the house are beautiful. The land the house sits on is beautiful. We loved the house, good size kitchen, large bedrooms, large dining room, 3 full baths, 2 livingrooms. We hiked all over property and thoroughly enjoyed our time. It was quiet, private and relaxing. We found this to be one of the better homes we have rented and we have rented one in WV annually for the last 6 years. The owner is great and very friendly. She returned our call promptly. We had lots of animals to watch squirrels, birds, otters, deer etc. We would rent it again.

Negative: The gravel roadway to home needs alot of work. Thank goodness we were in our 4 wheel drive truck. There were no signs where roadway split on the mountain top indicating which way to go towards the rental home, left or right. It is to the right. The home could use a bit of cleaning and up keep. But every rental we have rented has been this way and it is minor. There is little to no cell phone service in the area ....FYI Except inside the house by the front door in the left corner by the end table or outside on front porch. Be prepared in case of an emergency (first aid kit) because there is no house phone.
