The space
This 620 sqft duplex apartment features the following:
A corner couch to Netflix and Chill after a long day at the beach. Enjoy your 55" Samsung Smart TV which has all the smart TV apps and or allows you to sign in to your favorite streaming channels. Note: **No cable tv**
Work from home with our fast high-speed wifi (Download as fast as 100 Mbps) modern touches such as Nest thermostat and Nest CO2 protector.
Rest peacefully on memory foam King Size beds (a set of two twin size mattresses together) with blackout curtains for sleep in days and wall-to-wall closets in each room with plenty of hanging space as well as full-length mirrors. The bathroom features a newly remodeled shower.
The Peacock Oasis is 620 sq. ft and offers a full-sized kitchen that has everything you need in order to prepare a homemade meal including spices and cooking utensils. No dishwasher.

BBQ on your outdoor front patio or fenced-in private backyard lounge. (Neither if these spaces are shared with the other unit)
The private backyard seating area that is all for you and your guests - features solar-powered string lights for a cozy evening mood. Rest undisturbed back there.
Nestled in the quaint River Oaks neighborhood - this home is very close to Marinas & the Cruiseport. Located down the street (walking distance) from Lauderdale Marine Center - if you need to reference the location. You can also use Airbnb's newest feature to try out distances to your favorite locations by using the + symbol on the map located just below the -/+ zoom buttons.
A great spot to walk to YOT Restaurant & Bar on the water. Our favorite nearby restaurants include YOT, Mini Pita for excellent Mediterranean cuisine and all-day breakfast as well as Hardy Park Bistro for local seasonal delights.
Nearby Shopping for Groceries: 2 miles to a brand new Whole Foods or a short walk to Winn-Dixie. We recommend during COVID to take advantage of deliveries on-demand from WholeFoods through the Prime Now website or app, as well as Publix deliveries from InstaCart.
The washer and dryer are located in the shed in the backyard, also there is an ironing board and iron available.
The Peacock Oasis is pet-friendly up to 20lbs. Enjoy giving your dog a stroll in our peaceful neighborhood with a quiet park, pond, and walking path just around the corner.**There's an extra cleaning fee of $50 per pet.
Licensed to sleep 4 adults.**Max occupancy at all times is 4. No visitors allowed, all guests must be registered.
2 FREE parking spots are available (there is no on-street parking allowed in this neighborhood).
Dogs and Cats are both welcome. We live 2 miles from "Snyder Dog Park" (less than 5 min drive) and 8 miles from Fort Lauderdale "Dog Beach".
Orchids in bloom from February until summer. Our quiet & cozy neighborhood is home to roaming peacocks and muscovy ducks. Citrus trees & modern landscaping surround the property.
Because our neighborhood is in a quiet area full of long-time owner-occupants, we are not able to accommodate parties or hosting events. There is also an imposed 'quiet time' by the city of Fort Lauderdale from 10 pm-7 am.
Other things to note
*Please keep doors and windows closed when A/C on (to avoid condensation when it is very hot and humid outside).
*Quiet time outside the building as per city of Fort Lauderdale is from 10pm until 7am
*There cannot be loud noises outside between those hours or we risk having the police called. It's a calm neighborhood :)
