Space
This is a beautiful 900 sq ft space on the bottom floor of our home. There is a double bed and two double futons. Bath with shower and kitchenette with all amenities except stove/cook-top. We have a microwave, toaster oven, hot plate and BBQ pit available. You will have a private entrance through our large backyard and access to our pool.

You will have use of our pool, BBQ Pit, lovely large backyard. Free Wifi.
Guest interaction
We work full time and have lots of activities but will be available to our guest as much as possible. We love the city of New Orleans, love our neighborhood and our home and are eager to share all of them with visitors! We live onsite, the yard and pool are shared with our family.
Neighborhood overview
Our neighborhood is only blocks from Lake Ponchartrain and beautiful City Park! We feel like we live in the suburbs but are only minutes from the French Quarter! We live in a very safe area of the city and enjoy our outdoor space.
Getting around
We are located about 6 blocks from Lake Ponchartrain and a mile from New Orleans City Park. By car we are approximately 8 miles/15 minutes from downtown/French Quarter. There is a streetcar line located approximately 2 miles from us, at the New Orleans Museum of Art, this line (Canal St/City Park) runs to downtown/French Quarter. Other things to note
Please take note that the sleeping arrangements are a double bed and two double futons. There is no stove or cook-top but we do have a microwave, toaster oven, hot plate and BBQ pit. There is a full sized refrigerator/freezer and table for 6. Free wifi! Direct TV as well as an antenna that delivers local channels and more and there is a DVD player available. We have a small dog (Rat Terrier) that goes into the backyard but he is never let into the room that we rent so if you have issues with pet allergies it should not cause any problems.
We do not allow parties of any kind!
