If you are looking for a mountain getaway for relaxation and tranquility, come to Little Swiss Cabin. This charming mountain cabin is nestled in a wooded setting in the heart of Little Switzerland 1 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Breathe in the fresh mountain air at 3,606 ft and enjoy cooler temperatures. The cabin has a stone fireplace with propane logs, short oak hardwood floors and knotty pine walls and ceilings for mountain ambiance. Let all your stress melt away at Little Swiss Cabin.
This cozy cabin built in 1959 has been renovated with upgrades that include a covered deck, new stainless steel kitchen appliances, massive stone fireplace with propane logs, air conditioning throughout, and antique furniture. The exterior has a real 'Swiss' look. The “pivot” kitchen is small, but super functional and well stocked with everything you need.
Little Swiss cabin also offers a large covered deck with comfortable seating, a picnic table for outdoor dining complete with patio lights, as well as a hot tub spa. On the top floor is a dedicated workspace with high fiber optic WIFI. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths.
The upstairs top floor is accessed via a spiral staircase or an outside set of stairs. There you will find the master bedroom with a king size bed, hardwood flooring and wood siding/ceiling. There is a small deck/balcony overlooking the front of the house and is perfect for morning coffee and reading, plus a small deck on the back of the house. This floor also includes a full bathroom with a tub (no shower) and an office space nook with a desk and chair. The cabin offers high fiber optic WIFI throughout the house.
The main floor has 2 bedrooms filled with antique furniture, located just off the main living area. One has a queen bed and one a full bed. This floor has a full bath with shower, the family room with a large leather sofa, 55” Smart TV and beautiful stone fireplace with propane logs. There are 9 large windows allowing natural lighting. Also, a dining space and a small, but well stocked kitchen.
The covered deck is accessed from this main floor. It has comfortable outdoor furniture,, plus a picnic table for outdoor dining. This area is complete with patio lights and a spa hot tub. There is also a new charcoal grill avaiable for guest use to cook your favorite meal.
Little Swiss Cabin provides clean sheets, two warm blankets per bed and a towel set for each guest.
The lower level has a washer and dryer for guests to use. Also, a half bath and an extra full size bed if needed. This level is accessed from the outside.
**Please Note: There is an additional bedroom and half bathroom on the lower level of the house. It is not connected to the main living area. You must walk down the stairs and unlock the door with a house key to access it. Although not advertise this is available for guest use. There is a Full Size bed and half bathroom down there.**
**Please Note: This is an older true log cabin. There are been many renovations to make this cabin as warm and cozy as possible for our guest. But please keep in mind this is still a cabin in the mountains. You may need to bring some warmer clothes if coming during the fall or winter months. Also please keep in mind with this being a mountain cabin you may see evidence of a mouse or some bugs. Our cabin is on routine rodent and pest control maintenance but this can still happen in the mountains even with routine maintenance.

They will provide you with this information. When reserved through VRBO the information will be sent to you the message thread where you booked the property and received your reservation confirmation message as well. Please respect the neighbors and clean up after yourselves.
GUESTS ARE EMAILED CODE TO ACCESS, DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPERTY. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, NO OFFICE VISIT TO PICK UP KEYS!

This is a SMOKE FREE environment! Please don't smoke in the cabin. If you choose to smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts.
PHONE SERVICE: Cell phone reception is generally good, but it can be spotty at times. We are in the mountains.
CHILDREN: This house is not child-proofed for young children. There are also no accommodations for babies.
SUPPLIES: Groceries and supplies are available within 5 to 10 miles, but we suggest guests bring what they may need for immediate use so they can stay and relax on the property for their first meals, if so desired.
NO SMOKING POLICY due to guest and owner allergies. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $200 if you smoke inside the cabin. If you smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts properly.
