In downtown Pittsburg there are lots of eating places and also Anvil Brewery (super atmosphere). Lakes close by....Lake Bob Sandlin and Lake Cypress Springs along with Lake Bob Sandlin State Park. Antique shops galore....Pittsburg, Jefferson, Gladewater.... Within a 3 minute walk there is the famous Efurd Peach shed, usually open from April through the week before Thanksgiving. Get out and walk to the peach shed and have some of their famous ice cream along with many fruits and fresh vegetables. Also, a must see is the famous "Decorate Ornate" store in Gladewater, Tx. Go meet Stephanie Chance. She has collectables from all over the world. Also in Gladewater, Texas is the famous "Jack Folyton" theater. Most weekends you will find a theater play, music, or even comedy. Look them up, Jack will make your favorite drink.
