The Space:
Cardinal Crest is a newly updated cabin tucked away in the woods, featuring a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of prep space, a spacious great room filled with natural light, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and large, comfortable bedrooms. Step outside to the screened porch or deck to grill, unwind in the hot tub, or simply take in the peaceful surroundings—perfect for families or small groups of friends.
From the cabin, you can easily explore scenic hiking trails via Coolfont Resort, and you’ll love being so close to everything—especially the restaurants and shops in Berkeley Springs. Downtown is less than a 10-minute drive away, and Berkeley Springs Brewing Company is just 5 minutes from your door.

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).
Please note:
There are two sets of bunk beds in one of the bedrooms, and the cabin can easily sleep 10 people. If you have a larger group including young children, please message us and we can likely accommodate you at this property, or another one nearby.
While the neighborhood community does have a pool, unfortunately, it is not available for use by Blue Maple guests. While the pool is off-limits, we’re happy to recommend nearby swimming spots, parks, or other fun local attractions if you’re looking to cool off or relax!
You're renting a cabin in the woods—part of the charm is being surrounded by nature! That said, internet access can be spotty at times due to our remote location. We recommend downloading any important content ahead of time and taking this opportunity to unplug, relax, and enjoy the peaceful setting!
Beyond Coolfont, there’s plenty to do just a short drive away:
- Love the outdoors? Berkeley Springs State Park is home to a mineral spa that has been in use since colonial times. The park is renowned for its warm spring water, which flows at a constant temperature of 74.3 degrees. (10 min drive away)
- A little further away is Cacapon State Park a 6,000 + acre nature park great for hiking and exploring (about 25 minutes away)
- Looking for good restaurants & shopping? A short drive to Berkeley Springs Brewery, wineries, tea room, cafes, donut shop, art galleries - lots of local favorites
