Summary: The property grounds were stunning. Pools and fire pits and landscaping- all very nice. The room was clean also. The staff was fabulous. Very helpful. My complaints are these, just for others traveling: the pictures on hotels.com are misleading; the hotel is under construction. The pool bars/restaurants were also closed the whole time. The giant outdoor fireplace featured in the pictures is not there, and there is just one bar area/restaurant on property, no outdoor service. The only other thing (and I don’t want to complain because I know they are remodeling, and because it was clean) is that the room bathroom was wildly outdated— small, poor shower, peeling paint. But I know they are trying and I hope after the remodel it will be a beautiful place.
