Located near the lakefront in old historic Mandeville, on the quiet side of New Orleans, only 24 miles away just over the Causeway to New Orleans, 35 minutes outside of the buzz of the city.. Mandeville is a quaint village (est. 1842) with historic architecture, Saturday market, wonderful spots to eat play, hear music and experience Southern small town friendliness. Our waterfront condo is perfect to bring friends and family together for special times to create memories or renew those romantic feelings. Deck overlooking the bayou, views from all windows. Upper floor offers 2 bedrooms (queen beds) and full ensuite bath with the experience of mezzanine living that allows both privacy and connection to the lower level. Downstairs we have a queen size air mattress available also!!! Sleeps 6!! This floor has a full kitchen with granite counter tops and new stainless steel appliances and 1/2 bath. It also features a stackable washer & dryer. The living room and dining area flow into the private patio with your fishing/crabbing pier on the bayou only 20 ft away. 3 bikes, BBQ, crab nets and two cane fishing poles.

Our home includes Wi-Fi, TV with DIRECTV + ROKU, DVD, BBQ pit, 3 bikes and 2 fishing poles. Our getaway is across from the 31 mile walking/biking trail that connects you to Lakeshore Drive (2 blocks away w/beach), Fontainbleau State Park (2 miles away w/beach) and 4 other adorable towns nearby with unique personalities. Examples of fun places are Honey Island Swamp, Global Wildfire Center, Insta-Gator Ranch and Hatchery, and Abita Beer Brew Pub. In addition, you are only an hour away from plantation country south of Baton Rouge, and the casinos of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. There is much to explore, a listing of festivals, and fabulous music happens at the Dew Drop Jazz Hall (est. 1895) and Ruby's Roadhouse (all within a mile). We promise you a feast for ALL of your senses. Come on down!
