Positive: We spent 5 nights here as the 2nd half of a family holiday. Having travelled from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh the immediate peace and quiet was both striking and most welcome! The Riad is peaceful, the family room we shared was a good size, the pool area was always clean and quiet and much appreciated under a hot sun! We travelled without a car - worth noting that it is a 15 - 20 minute taxi ride into Essaouria but this was easily arranged with the help of the Riad owners as were activities we booked. The chef / food is lovely and the service with a smile even better. It definitely helps to speak french but ours is very limited and it was not really an issue. Big thanks to all of the staff at Dar Essaada for helping to make our stay so memorable!
