The home is located about a 20-mile drive east of the center of downtown New Orleans & the French Quarter. It’s a waterfront property, situated on the lagoons in between Lake Borgne & Lake Pontchartrain. You’ll be near landmarks like Fort Macomb and the Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge.
There are many activities and attractions in New Orleans and the surrounding area, from city and cultural tours, museums, fishing and boat charters, steamboat cruises, and of course downtown’s French Quarter. So when you’re ready to leave this fun home and venture out, here are some ideas:

Getting Around:
The home is about a 40-minute drive (30 mi | 49 km) from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and resides in a waterfront residential area near Fort Macomb, a tourist site, where you’ll find the remains of two 19th-century brick forts on the water and near the Bayou Sauvage Wildlife Refuge.
The best means of transportation if you’re not driving to the area, would be to rent a car, as there will be lots to see and do around the greater New Orleans area. If you’re not renting, you could always use curb-ride services like Uber and Lyft, taxis, rideshare vans like Super Shuttle, or hire private transport.
Other Things to Note:
*Please note that the owner's boat is docked at the property, but it is not accessible to guests. We ask that you please refrain from touching it or the boat lift. Thank you in advance. If you’d like to enjoy the river, guests need to bring their own boat and use the public community ramp to enter.
Guests need to climb stairs to reach the bedrooms which are all upstairs.
Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, washer, dryer, bed linens, and bath towels are provided free during your stay.
We provide some complimentary essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and some toilet paper in the bathrooms but please note that these items are not replenished. When you run out, you’ll need to purchase more.
There’s no daily housekeeping service, but if you’d like the place cleaned during your stay, that can be arranged for an extra fee.
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.

- No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis, or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during your stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are allowed and an extra fee will apply. Maximum of 2.
- Please do not touch the boat or the boat lift on the property.
- NO SWIMMING on the river. There is no lifeguard. We will not be held responsible for accidents or any breach of this house rule.
Interaction with Guests:
This is a self check-in property. Entry to the home is via electronic door code. We’ll send you the access code within 24 hours of arrival.
You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we’re available 7 days a week. Should you need anything, just send us a message.
