Arago Bungalow is the quintessential 1965 mid-century beach cottage. This lovingly restored 900 square foot 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home is just 3 blocks from the neighborhood hobbit trail to the beach. It features a deck on both the east and the west side of the house so there's always some place to sit and enjoy the sunny days and to listen to the sounds of the surf.
The main living space is one large room so the cook won't miss the game or conversation. It has a gourmet kitchen with Jenn Air downdraft range which includes the griddle and bbq cartridges. There is a wonderful center island for preparing your special meal along with spacious Corian countertops. The center island also features a 2 person bar. Set up your laptop or have your morning cereal. There is also a wonderful modern 4 person dining table in the middle of the room.
The living room has an electric fireplace and the front door leads out to the large west facing deck that has comfy outdoor living room furniture.
The queen bedroom has an electric fireplace and lovely French doors to the deck, a fantastic place to enjoy your morning coffee.
The second bedroom has a bunk bed with full size bed on the bottom bunk and twin bunk on the top. There is also a desk in this room if you need to get some work done or attend a zoom meeting!
The main bath sits between the two bedrooms and has a marvelous clawfoot bathtub with regular and handheld shower. Vintage Clawfoot tub's are tall and not easy to get in and out of so I only recommend this house for the agile.
You'll find the laundry room off the kitchen which also has a powder room with toilet and sink.
